#1 strings
HeadHunter Posted on: 7/17 10:35
I have been experimenting with 450+ and find I like it, also a gentleman by the name of Doug Besherse sent me a string. I'm not sure what material it is. The 450+ has very little stretch or creep and is quiet and has a long life with good arrow speed. The string Doug sent me shoots very well also, a nice soft shot and no creep I mean none. I need to do some more testing with a chronograph. With the string from Doug I need to go up in spine with my arrows, when I get some built I will do the testing and let you know what I find.

After 35 years of applying for a moose tag in Montana they kicked me in the ditch again. No sheep either, hear of anybody drawing any good tags.

We went for a walk to the top of Mt Aeneas last Thursday. It sure felt good to get the legs burning. I know I need to start getting in shape for bow season. While on the top of Aeneas we saw 30 different goats all nanny and kids. I think I'm about a quart low of blood from all the gnats chewing on me.

Hunting season is off to a good start with a nice antelope buck, hunted elk for a day and a half almost got a decent bull. I'm off to hunt mule deer for a few days and I am no mule deer hunter Wish me luck.

The riser is brown Dymondwood with red mycarta and Bocote Accent stripes. The limbs appear to be Bocote veneers and red elm cores.Send me your address so I can send you a pair of correct limb bolts those are really really ugly we can do better.I can also make deer antler knobs for you so let me know what will work best for you.

There is a complete article on the site about tuning arrows I would strongly suggest reading through it.

I hope you enjoy the bow, 55to 70 is a big jump you may need to work into that one. If you need anything let me know I will try and help you out. Neil

Couldn't believe on the way home the other night there was a stinking wolf standing beside the 4 lane and I couldn't even run over him.

Hunted bears in the evenings last week and was fortunate enough to see a 7ft plus blond Grizz with dark chocolate legs and 5" white claws go to about 50 yards before she busted me.

I'm not sure about the price, The bow you bought is not one of mine it is some other person using a similar name as mine. Please don't judge me by this other person.
